Syrian cooking with Bashar | Syrische Küche mit Bashar
23.7.2016, from 8:00 – 10:30 pm @ Sharehouse Refugio, Lenaustraße 3-4, Berlin
Bashar is going to teach us how to cook a delicious Syrian dish! He can speak Arabic, English, and as of recent, pretty great German too, so he’ll be able to provide direction in a number of languages. Places will be limited, so RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your spot. We’ll each choose/be assigned an ingredient off the list and after the class we can sit together and enjoy our wonderful creation!
Free-hand drawing | Freies Zeichnen
16.7.2016, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm @ Sharehouse Refugio, Lenaustraße 3-4, Berlin
Let’s get out our pencils and paper and shake off all fears of drawing – in this get-together, we will do some fun drawing exercises that will bring out everybody’s creativity. Please bring some pencils and paper along!
The course will be facilitated by New Zealander Melissa and Finn-German Katharina. Both have a background in the creative fields (architecture & design), love cooking and yoga, and have a strong passion for socio-political issues, community initiatives and learning new things.
